Aziliz Denis

Biography
Artist in residence at the Academy since September 2025
Aziliz Denis began her training in fashion design at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Nantes. She then graduated from the intensive programme in fashion design and pattern making at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris.
From 2020 to 2022, she worked as a junior designer and production assistant for the Gertrude brand in Marseille. She then continued her professional career at the ALAINPAUL studio as a junior fashion designer and pattern maker from 2023 to 2025. The studio was awarded the ANDAM 2025 Special Prize and was a finalist for the LVMH Prize 2025.
Aziliz Denis joined the Academy of the Paris National Opera in September 2025. She works within the couture workshops of the Opéra Bastille and takes part in various opera and choreographic productions of the Paris National Opera. From September 2026 onwards, her work will continue to focus in particular on computer-aided design (CAD).
