Aude Accary-Bonnery joined the Paris National Opera as Deputy Chief Executive Officer on March 3, 2025.
Aude Accary-Bonnery is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po), the University of Paris II – Panthéon-Assas, and a former student of the École nationale d'administration (ENA).
She began her professional career at the Media Development Directorate (now the Directorate-General for Media and Cultural Industries) at the Ministry of Culture, where she was responsible for public broadcasting. She then joined the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport for five years, where she worked on audiovisual matters, then on cinema and the video game sector.
In 2011, she was appointed Deputy Director and later Chief Financial and Legal Officer at the French National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC). In 2014, she joined the office of the Minister of Culture and Communication as Advisor for Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs. She was subsequently appointed Head of the Financial and General Affairs Department at the Ministry of Culture in April 2016, Deputy Director-General of the CNC in charge of Strategy and Oversight in January 2018, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture since October 2020.
