Artist in residence at the Academy since September 2026
Anna Giorgi studied piano at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where she was awarded the Concert Artist Diploma, and at the Académie Jaroussky. She continued her training in vocal accompaniment and vocal coaching at the Paris Conservatoire (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris) with Anne Le Bozec, Emmanuel Olivier, Erika Guiomar, and Nathalie Dang.
She performs regularly in France and internationally, appearing at the Opéra de Toulon, Opéra national de Lorraine, Opéra de Lyon, La Seine Musicale, Salle Cortot, Wigmore Hall in London, and in various theatres in Belgium and Austria. She has also taken part in festivals including the Festival des Nuits Romantiques d’Aix-les-Bains, the Festival de l’Épau, and the Musicales d’Arradon.
She collaborates with numerous singers, including Anaïs Constans, Éléonore Gagey, Marie-Andrée Bouchard-Lesieur, Pierre-Yves Cras, and Timothée Varon. She also forms the duo Moine ou Voyou with soprano Tamara Bounazou. During the 2024/2025 season, Anna Giorgi took part in the Wigmore French Song Exchange in London.
Together with Tamara Bounazou, she won First Prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, as well as the ADAMI Prize, the SACEM Prize, the Bullukian Foundation Prize, and the Grandes Écoles Prize.
Anna Giorgi joined the Academy of the Paris National Opera in September 2026.
