Winner of the 2026 Victoire de la musique Classique in the category “Best New Conductor,” Alizé Léhon will conduct Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio during the 2025–2026 season at the Opéra de Tours; in concert, she has been invited to lead the Musikkollegium Winterthur, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Montpellier Occitanie National Orchestra, the Bordeaux National Orchestra, the Pays de la Loire National Orchestra, the Tours Opera Orchestra, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes National Orchestra, the Colonne Orchestra, and the Regional Orchestra Academy at the Bordeaux Opera Bordeaux.
She has been appointed assistant conductor for two seasons, beginning in September 2025, with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, and will join the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris as principal conductor of the ADO – Apprentissage de l’Opéra orchestras starting with the 2026–2027 season.
She trained at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Alain Altinoglu’s class and earned a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting with unanimous honors in May 2024. As part of her training, she worked with the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchestre de Picardie, the Orchestre Régional de Normandie, and the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire, and received guidance in masterclasses from Mikko Franck, Douglas Boyd, Jean Deroyer, Pascal Rophé, and Arie van Beek.
In 2024, she was selected to participate in the Malko Competition for Young Conductors in Copenhagen, where she conducted the Danish National Symphony Orchestra; that same year, she won second prize at the Neeme Järvi Competition during the Gstaad Conducting Academy.
In March 2023, she served as music director for Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story at the CNSMDP. Performed by students majoring in voice, music, dance, and sound engineering, this musical marked a first for the Conservatory and was met with enthusiasm from the performers, the audience, and critics alike.
Alizé Léhon has been represented by the RSBA agency since 2024.
