Trained at the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris National Opera
Trained at the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris National Opera and through the Young Singers Program at the Salzburg Festival, Alisa Kolosova made her international debut in 2010 at the Salzburg Festival in Mozart’s La Betulia liberata.
Between 2011 and 2014, she was a member of the Vienna State Opera ensemble. Career highlights include Neris (Medea) at the Salzburg Festival, Maddalena (Rigoletto) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and the Rome Opera, Fenena (Nabucco) at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, Olga (Eugene Onegin) and Federica (Luisa Miller) at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, her debut as Dalila (Samson et Dalila) at the Basel Theatre, and performing the Glagolitic Mass with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel.
In recent seasons, she has performed roles including Baba the Turk (The Rake’s Progress) at Glyndebourne, Amneris (Aida) in Rouen, Suzuki (Madame Butterfly) in Tenerife, Larina (Eugene Onegin) at La Scala in Milan, and the title role of Carmen at the Verona Arena. She also regularly performs in concert.
