Opera ticket exchange

The official Paris Opera ticket exchange allows you to resell certain tickets or to acquire tickets originally purchased by other spectators, in complete confidence and security.

Go to bourse.operadeparis.fr now!

PUTTING YOUR TICKETS ON SALE

Consult the list of your tickets available for resale in your personal space and select the tickets you wish to resell. You can then define the resale price per ticket, which cannot exceed the initial face value. A confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as your tickets are actually available on the ticket exchange.
You may cancel the resale of your tickets at any time via your personal space, under "My tickets".
When your tickets are resold, the Paris Opera processes the entire transaction, including the delivery of your tickets to the new buyer. A fee of 2.5% of the resale price of your tickets will be retained.
Once your tickets have been sold, the proceeds of the sale will be credited to your credit card if you made your purchase on the internet. In all other cases, the total amount corresponding to the tickets sold will be paid into your credit balance, available in your personal space on operadeparis.fr, underthe heading "My available credit".
Only tickets for performances may be sold on the Ticket Exchange, with the exception of tickets for which proof of entitlement is required (under-28s, reduced mobility, under-40s, etc.).
Members of a group (works councils, associations, groups of friends, school groups) and customers of the Paris Opera's commercial partners (ticketing agencies, distributors, TOs) must contact the principal ticket-holder of the initial order if they wish to resell their ticket on the Paris Opera Ticket Exchange; only the latter will be credited for the resale amount.

BUYING TICKETS

Consult the list of tickets available for resale on bourse.operadeparis.fr, select the tickets you wish to buy and complete your purchase.
When you make your purchase, the Paris Opera handles the entire transaction, including the delivery of your tickets. A fee of 7.5% of the initial ticket value is added to the amount of your transaction for using the service.
Once payment has been made, you can obtain your tickets from your personal space on operadeparis.fr. In the "My tickets" section, you will find your tickets ready to print. They will be presented in a format suitable for printing on paper and in a version designed for your mobile screen.

Show cancellation insurance

When purchasing your tour or show tickets, you have the option of subscribing to a cancellation insurance. If you cannot make it, you will be able to get 100% (provided you send proof) or 80% (if proof isn’t provided) of your money back through the insurer.

You will be covered in the case of any random, sudden, irresistible or unforeseen event occurring before the date of the covered show or tour, provided that it results from an unintentional circumstance on your part or a member of your family’s, unforeseeable on the day you subscribe and resulting from an external cause, and considering the exclusions laid out in article 5 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Please note that booking errors or changes are not covered by the cancellation insurance. Cancellation insurance is personal, so you will need to sign up to subscribe when you buy your tickets; the insurance premium is calculated in proportion to the amount of your order (refer to the detailed scale in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale).

YOU CAN TAKE OUT CANCELLATION INSURANCE WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS:

  • Online or by telephone – in which case you will have 30 days to exercise your right of withdrawal*.
  • At the box offices of the Palais Garnier or the Opéra Bastille – in which case the 30-day right of withdrawal only applies in the event that you already have a prior warranty for one of the risks covered.

*If the covered show or tour takes place within 30 days after you subscribe to the contract, you won’t be able to cancel your subscription (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code and Article L112-2-1 of the French Insurance Code).
