Exchange and Cancellation insurance
For a processing fee of €10 per ticket you can exchange your tickets for tickets to the same production on a different date (subject to availability) up to 48 hours before the date of the performance (5 working days for groups). 21/22
Ssubscribers may exchange their tickets for tickets to the same production on a different date1 or for tickets to another of the season’s productions2 free of charge. Exchanges for the 21/22 season are possible from 8 June. For details, call 08 92 89 90 90 (€0.35 / min inclusive of taxes. Operator surcharges may apply) or + 33 1 71 25 24 23 if calling from outside France, Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm.

The Paris Opera is now offering you the chance to take out cancellation insurance on the tickets you purchase for performances and visits. As such, if you are unable to attend for justifiable reasons included in the list of events covered*, the cost of your tickets will be refunded by the insurance provider on presentation of the relevant receipts. Some of the covered events specifically include: accidents and serious illness, death of a close relation, birth of a child or grandchild, public transport strike, vehicle breakdown…

Please be advised: reservation errors or modifications are not covered by the cancellation insurance. The cancellation insurance is non-transferable. You will therefore need to identify yourself when you purchase your tickets in order to sign up for it. Insurance premiums are calculated in relation to the value of your order (a detailed table of charges can be found in the general terms of sale)
