A selection of costumes exhibited at the Palais Garnier
On the occasion of the Hommage à Patrick Dupond program, the Paris Opera is showcasing a selection of its costumes that the public will be able to discover in the public areas of the Palais Garnier until August 21st, 2023.
In homage to Patrick Dupond, who passed away in 2021, the Paris Opera Ballet celebrates the artist who, throughout a dazzling and luminous career, embodied the face of the Ballet Company on every continent. This exhibition presents some costumes of the great ballets of the repertoire that he performed such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Paquita, The Wolf, Tzigane, The Four Seasons, Les Mirages, Push Comes to Shove, Marco Spada, The Sleeping Beauty.
A souvenir album, made up of testimonials and photos, is specially published for this occasion, as well as the poster of the "Hommage à Patrick Dupond" program.
