Peter te Nuyl
Dramatist
Biography
Peter te Nuyl is dramaturge, director, librettist and sound composer. He directed many straight and music theatre productions before he recognized his better in Lotte de Beer. Since 2011 he is De Beers production dramaturge. He has written and directed numerous radio drama productions for Dutch Public Radio. He wrote libretti for several composers. In 2017 he collaborated with composer Moritz Eggert and Lotte de Beer on the new opera Caliban. As a sound composer he explores the No Mans Land between sound, music and speech. Peter Te Nuyl passes on his knowledge and experience to a younger generation of directors, singers, conductors and designers.
