Louise Baillot Wigmaker

Biography

Louise Baillot was born in 1990 on an island in Brittany. Attracted from an early age by the world of the spectacle and the scene, she practices circus arts, piano and gymnastics. In 2009 she obtains a CAP Coiffure at the Ecole Professionnelle des Arts de la Coiffure in Rennes, followed by a BP Coiffure in 2011. After spending one year in Dublin, she enrols in a professional Bac for Wigmakers in Paris, which she obtains in 2015. During these two years of training, she took part in several projects related to hairdressing, including the annual show of the Paris fashion schools, during which she obtains the 1st prize. She enriches her professional experience by working during 6 months on wigs and postiches intended for cinema productions, both in the workshop and the film set. Later on, she worked at the Opéra de Paris, participated in various productions as a hairdresser and makeup artist. Louise joined the Académie de l'Opéra National de Paris in the fall of 2016, as a wigmaker-makeup artist in residence.
