Biography
Julie Schmidt was born in Colmar and earned a degree in design at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Strasbourg. She obtained her CAP diploma in fashion and millinery from the Lycée la Source de Nogent-sur-Marne in 2018. During her training, she had a three-week placement in the millinery studios of the Opéra Bastille. Eager to maintain a link between her artistic training and her environment, the young milliner is involved in educational and art-awareness programmes for young people and also in the field of art therapy. As such, she is following a training course in Haguenau with art-therapist Émilie Marçot. Julie Schmidt is joining the Paris Opera Academy in September 2018 and will be working in the millinery studios at the Opéra Bastille.
