Gordon

Gordon studied graphic design at the Estienne School in Paris. He then designed numerous TV channels’ graphic charter and was artistic director for France Télévisions, Radio Canada, Prime be, M6music, Abu Dhabi Tv… These experiences led him to film direction, where he collaborates with filmmakers such as Andy Sommer or Philippe Béziat. He thus took part in the creation of movies such as The Carnival of the Animals with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra with Myung Whun Chung and Smaïn (Italia Prize 2011, Golden Prize and Public Award from the Golden Prague 2011), Antoine’s Four Seasons (with Philippe Béziat) with the Concerto Italiano Ensemble, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Pierre Richard. Then Peter and the Wolf with the Orchestre national de France conducted by Daniele Gatti and with François Morel as the storyteller (Bologna Digital Award 2014, Berlin Golden Rose Award 2014), that was then recorded in two audio books (Hélium publishing house). He also created virtual reality experiences with Andrés Jarach, such as the 360° movie Condamnés à jouer (written with Marie Sellier) and 1, 2, 3 Bruegel, a virtual reality game currently presented in Arles. Another WebVR project Replay Memories, almost completed, focuses on collective memory in the perspective of web algorithms. He is currently working on a series of 10 episodes on Beethoven’s symphonies for the channel France Télévisions jeunesse.
