Ann Ray is a French visual artist, based in Paris after living in Tokyo and London. Besides her personal projects, most of her artworks result from deep connections and collaborations with exceptional artists. Her photographs are exhibited worldwide and take place in numerous private and institutional collections: Victoria & Albert Museum, London (2014), Foundation Carmignac, Paris (2012), Art Pradier, Luxembourg (2014). Her movies have been seen in Paris / Opera Bastille Paris (« 24 hours in a man’s life », 2012), in New York / Fashion Institute of Technology (« Metamorphosis », 2014) and in London / Victoria & Albert Museum (« Untitled », 2015 ). She published 5 books since 2008, including at Abrams (NY) & La Martinière (Paris): « Love looks not with the eyes », gathering an essay and 400 analogue photographs by the artist, evoking 13 years of shared visions with Lee Alexander McQueen.
