Sondra Radvanovsky trained at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in the late 1990s as part of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Since then, she has performed roles including Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Leonora (Il Trovatore), Elvira (Ernani), Elisabeth (Don Carlo), Roxane (Cyrano de Bergerac), Elisabetta (Roberto Devereux), and the title roles in Tosca, Aida, Luisa Miller, Norma, Anna Bolena, and Maria Stuarda.
Her recent engagements include the title role in Medea in Toronto, Turandot in Naples and London, Aida in Berlin, Tosca in New York, Berlin, and Naples, Lisa (The Queen of Spades) in Berlin, Leonora (La Forza del Destino) and Maddalena (Andrea Chénier) in London and Berlin, and Odabella (Attila) in concert in Madrid. In the 2025–2026 season, she will sing the title roles of Medea in Chicago and Naples and Turandot in Munich. She will also appear in concert in Ljubljana and Naples.
