Jorine van Beek Costumière

Biographie

Jorine van Beek is an international operating Costume Designer. Her work encompasses the worlds of dance, theatre, film, art and opera. She studied at the Academy of Arts in Maastricht (NL) and at the Wimbledon School of Arts in London (UK). She designed the costumes for several opera houses, such as The Bayerische Staatsoper, Oper Leipzig, Theater an der Wien, The Israeli Opera, Staatsoper Hannover and Opera the Paris. In 2006 was her first break-through as a costume designer. She got the Edmund Hustinxprice for Fine Arts. In 2017 her costumes from Perlenfishers were nominated for The Goldene Schikaneder (AU). The costumes designed by Jorine van Beek always have a refined characteristic theatricality which fits seamless to the theatrepiece.
