Synopsis
Cas Public, a company from Quebec performing regularly at the Paris Opera, has in its midst an atypical dancer. Cai Glover is deaf. This handicap, which he overcame to become a professional dancer, is the point of departure for the choreographer whose creativity dares to attempt the impossible. Perception, experience and understanding. It is our senses that permit us to grasp the world around us. So how do you embrace all the exuberance and grandeur of the Ninth Symphony if, like Beethoven, you have no sense of hearing?

Cette création a bénéficié d'une résidence de création à la Place des Arts (Montréal), à la Maison de la culture Mercier (Montréal), la Maison de la culture Frontenac (Montréal), le Kopergietery (Gand), le Tarmac - la scène internationale francophone (Paris) et le Centre Banff. Le spectacle 9 est présenté en collaboration avec la Fondation des Sourds du Québec
