Company service Sponsorship & partnership

Support the Paris opera in its projects. For the Paris Opera, corporate sponsorship is crucial in carrying out its projects and achieving its missions.

Sponsorship & partnership

Without the commitment and generosity of businesses, it would be impossible to see many initiatives through. This is because the sponsorship of opera and ballet shows enables more new productions, new ballets and commissions from composers, and hence contributing to the Opera's artistic vitality.
Likewise, the Opera Ballet and Orchestra tours within and outside France, the educational project "Dix mois d’Ecole et d’Opéra" and the one for younger audiences, and the restoration of the institution's architectural heritage would be impossible without the vital support of private financing.
Closely involved with the life of the Opera, corporate sponsors enhance their image in return, offer their partners exceptional experiences in the two houses, Opéra Bastille and the Palais Garnier, and gain numerous exclusive advantages for their employees (backstage tours, special access to shows and rehearsals, meetings with the artists, and so on), as part of the tax advantages laid down by the Sponsorship Act of 2003.

Jopin the circle of corporate sponsors and partners

By becoming a member of the Paris Opera’s Circle of Corporate Sponsors and Partners, your company provides crucial support for:
  • an institution dedicated to creation and contact with artists from every background,
  • the accessibility to live performances for everyone,
  • training and discovering future talents,
  • the perpetuation of an extraordinary heritage.
You can join the Circle by donating a minimum of € 200,000, i.e. a cost of only € 80,000 after the tax reduction*, and then enjoy the exclusive advantages reserved for its members.

Numerous ways of supporting the Opera

Each company can freely allocate its support, which may take different forms:

  • cash patronage or sponsorship: if the company decides, for example, to associate itself with one of the Opera's opera or ballet productions by making a donation;
  • skills sponsorship: if the company undertakes to provide the Paris Opera with its own expertise at no cost – for example, to restore various components of the Palais Garnier heritage;
  • sponsorship in kind: if the company decides to donate products;
  • partnership: if the company cannot benefit from the tax reduction and / or if it wishes to promote its action and develop a commercial communication.
Other forms of commitment exist for companies wishing to join forces with the Paris Opera: brand association through the set-up of a brand licence with the Paris Opera, official supplier in various areas of activities, affectation of all or part of your apprenticeship tax to the Paris Opera Ballet School. Tailor-made partnerships can be set up, according to the partner’s wishes and expertise.
