A family outing at the Opera

Welcoming families throughout the season and new audiences during a discovery day of the institution.

  • Remove the barrier of ticket prices which can be a difficulty for families to come to the opera
  • To introduce the institution, its shows, but also its backstage and its jobs, to families who have never been to the theatre

The project

For several years now, the Opera has been proposing offers adapted to families to allow them to discover a ballet or an opera for the first time or to allow parents to share their passion with their children.
The Opera wishes to go further, by offering more seats, more dates, more flexibility, and a new day of discovery of the institution!
  • Dedicated and reinforced price offers, throughout the season, thanks to a €50 Family Pass (new), on a wide range of dates.
  • An exclusive day "My First Time at the Opera", punctuated by visits, discovery of the professions, and which will end with a great classical ballet: La Bayadère, by Rudolf Nureyev (unpublished).
  • The Young Audience program of the Academy welcomes nearly 18,000 spectators each season and helps to train the audiences of tomorrow
