On the occasion of the production "Créer aujourd’hui", imagined by Aurélie Dupont to showcase contemporary creation, Damien Jalet, who already choreographed Boléro in 2013 (in collaboration with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui) for the Opera Ballet, proposes Brise-lames, a piece for nine dancers to original music by Koki Nakano. Octave magazine interviews Clémence Gross and Takeru Coste to discuss their collaboration with Damien Jalet, their work in rehearsals, and the aesthetics of this ballet. In this unusual period, the themes dear to the choreographer strike a particular chord with them: Brise-lames portrays waves of movement that spread as if by contagion.

Four contemporary creations by the choreographers : Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Tess Voelker, Damien Jalet and Mehdi Kerkouche.
