All about Herman Schmerman

By Ann Ray
Now running at the Palais Garnier, William Forsythe's ballet Herman Schmerman is entering the Paris Opera's repertoire. Répétiteur Noah Gelber recounts the creation of this Pas de deux and its handing down, whilst dancers Hannah O'Neill and Hugo Marchand give us their first impressions. An instinctive ballet full of freedom carrying them off into a unique choreographic adventure.
