Sylvain Ledda is professor of nineteenth-century French literature at the University of Rouen-Normandy. A specialist on Romanticism, he has devoted numerous works to Musset,Dumas, Vigny, Nerval. He is particularly interested in the dialogue between the arts and historical representation in the nineteenth century.
