Marie Darrieussecq

Marie Darrieussecq is a writer and psychoanalyst. In 2013, her novel, Il faut beaucoup aimer les hommes was awarded the Prix Medicis. Author of a thesis on autofiction, she draws her literary influences from classical literature, like Ovid whose Epistulae ex Ponto and Tristia she has translated. Her next novel, Notre vie dans les forêts, will be published by P.O.L. in August 2017.
