Etienne Barilier

Novelist and essayist, Etienne Barilier is the author of fifty or so publications. Music is strongly present in his novels as it is in his essays. Recent works include: Alban Berg, essai d’interprétation ; B-A-C-H, histoire d’un nom dans la musique ; Exil et musique. Etienne Barilier has often written for the programmes at the Paris, Geneva and Aix-en-Provence Operas and provided articles for the magazine Avant-Scène Opéra.
