Claire Berest

Claire Berest is a writer. She published her first novel, Mikado, at the age of 27 (Léo Scheer, 2011). Two other novels were to follow: L’Orchestre vide (Léo Scheer, 2012) and Bellevue (Stock, 2016) and two essays : La Lutte des classes, pourquoi j’ai démissionné de l’Education nationale, and Enfants perdus, an investigation at the juvenile police department, published in paperback in 2015. In August 2017, with her sister Anne Berest, she co-wrote Gabriële (Stock).
