Astrid Eliard is a literary critic, writer and teacher. Her first collection of short stories, Nuit de noces, was published by Mercure in France in 2010 (SGDL Grand Prix for short stories). Her latest novel, Danser (2016, awarded the Literary Prize by the town of Arcachon and the Marcel Pagnol Prize), also published by Mercure, led her readers into the world of the little rats de l’Opéra, the youngest dancers, where already, the ideal of perfection must be reconciled with sordid reality.
"Dance! Sing! 7 minutes at the Paris Opera" offers original incursions into the season thanks to broadcasts produced by France Musique and the Paris Opera. For each opera or ballet production, Nathalie Moller (opera) and Jean-Baptiste Urbain (dance), present the works and artists you are going to discover when you attend performances in our theatres.
