For
the Paris Opera's 3e Scène, director Ramzi Ben Sliman has imagined a fiction
blending poetry and realism and set in Paris' Goutte d'Or district. A genuine
Ulysses of modern times, the protagonist displays talent and cunning, breaking
the boundaries between classical dance and hip-hop during a breakdance battle.
Faithful to his hero, Ramzi Ben Sliman does not oppose tradition and modernity
as he pays tribute to the emotion of dance, be it on stage or in the street. In
this interview, Ramzi Ben Sliman discusses the film's creation, his
relationship with the Opera and his experience of the 3e Scène.
