Since January 2020, Martin Ajdari has been Deputy Director of the Paris Opera. Along with Paris Opera Director Alexander Neef, he coordinates all of the house’s operational services (administrative, financial, commercial, digital, technical, real estate...), and is responsible for implementing its strategic plan.

Ajdari is a graduate from the ESCP and the Political Studies School of Paris (Institut d'études politiques de Paris), as well as a former student of the ENA (1995). He first worked in the Ministry of Economy and Finance, before being appointed Deputy Director of Radio France in 2004.

He was then Director of Resources, and General Secretary of France Télévisions (2010 to 2014), before being appointed Cabinet Office Director to the Minister of Culture and Communication (Aurélie Filippetti and then Fleur Pellerin), and then Director of Media and Cultural Industries inside this Ministry (2015).
