JEUNE PUBLIC
A LA CARTE PROJECTS

A choice of projects

How is a rehearsal organised? Who makes the sets and costumes? What technicians are essential to make a performance work? Who is in charge of the programmes? To answer all these questions and discover what happens behind the scenes, the theatre opens its doors to pupils and their teachers.

A project: to benefit from these activities, you need only to send a detailed project containing:
- The aim of the educational team’s work, (historical, literary, musical, technical...).
- How the project links the different teachers together
- The activities planned in the establishment and other locations
- Any other information necessary to understand the project as a whole without forgetting practical information, (number of pupils, class level, people or institutions implicated in the project, precise address and telephone numbers...)
A letter enclosed with the application should indicate how we could be associated in the project.

A collaboration: We will then define, together, the programme for your activities at the Opera depending on your means, your available time and also the imperatives related to the running of the theatre. Different activities would be envisaged: visiting the two theatres, discovering the sets and costumes workshops, meeting artistic, technical or administrative professionals, attending rehearsals open to the public in the big theatre, tickets for a performance in the Young Audience series or reduced priced tickets for a performance in the big theatre, (for specific performances and limited to 35 tickets including accompanying adults).

A programme open to everyone: La saison dernière, près de 5 600 élèves d'établissements scolaires mais aussi de conservatoires ou d'écoles de danse ont découvert quelques unes des multiples facettes de l'Opéra.

If you wish benefit from these privileged conditions for discovering the Opera, you only need to send your detailed project by the start of the 2012/2013 school year.

Performance in the big theatre

Within the framework of pedagogical projects undertaken by schoolchildren or classes from music and dance schools, we offer special rates for certain performances limited to 35 seats per group including accompanying adults.
