PARIS OPERA BALLET
TO AN ORIGINAL IDEA BY OLIVIER DEBRÉ
An affirmation of the close-knit relationship between painting, music and dance, the origins of Signes lie in artist Olivier Debré’s desire to translate into a series of paintings the feeling elicited in him by a smile. Inspired by these flamboyant paintings, Carolyn Carlson sets her dancers in motion to an original score by Réné Aubry.
