Palais Garnier - Unaccompanied Visits

The great staircase, the foyers, the museum, the auditorium (for artistic or technical reasons, it may not always be accessible) can be visited unaccompanied every day from 10:00 am to 5:00p m (last admissions 4:30 pm).

Visiting times

Every day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm* (last admissions 4:30 pm)
Closed January 1st, May 1st, and when a special event is scheduled.
*From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm when a matinee performance is scheduled.

From July 16th until September 2nd included, visits will close at 6:00 pm (last admissions 5:30 pm).

For individual visitors

normal price : 10 €

reduced rates : 6 €
Students, under-25s, individual admissions in partnership with cultural and other institutions (Musée d'Orsay, Musée Gustave Moreau, CNCS Moulins, SNCF…) holders of a valid "Carte Opéra" or Opéra subscriber card.

Free: The unemployed, those entitled to minimum benefits, under 10s, Pass'Opéra Jeunes pass-holders,"carte culture" holders, French National Library reader's card (access to the Opera Museum-Library reading room.)

For groups

Price: 6 € / ticket (pupils and teachers following a Paris Opera educational programme, over-10s and the person accompanying them)
Works councils, associations, tour operators and coach operators may purchase preferential rate tickets in advance for orders of 30 tickets or more valid for one year.
