"Talk Europe to me"

Ten months at School and at the Opera has opened to Europe..

The extension of the programme to the European Union has allowed its impact to reach schools situated in socially and culturally underprivileged districts of each of the countries involved in the partnership.

A partnershipwas struck between the National Paris Opera and Opera houses in the European Union (2008: Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands). New European projects are underway.

Artistic practise workshops (dancing, singing, acting) culminate in a production to be performed in one or all of the partner countries.

Visits, interviews with professionals, and opera seats are offered to the students involved in the European project in each European Opera house.

A European Journal presents the European students’ writings and drawings

A European poster competition is opened to all the classes in the schools involved with the European project.

A blog, dedicated to intercultural dialogue between the students is set up; they can exchange on their cities, their countries, their project, their opening to the world of the Opera.
