On March 28th 2007, he is made an « Étoile » following a performance of Don Quichotte (Rudolf Nureyev).

Biography

He has since added to his repertoire: Apollo (George Balanchine), Le Sacre duPrintemps (Maurice Béjart), A Sort of… , The Apartment (Mats Ek), Petrushka (Michel Fokine), Kaguyahime (Jiří Kylián), Lescaut in L’Histoire de Manon (Kenneth MacMillan), The Afternoon of a Faun (Vaslav Nijinsky), Drosselmeyer / the Prince in The Nutcracker, Abderam in Raymonda, Solor in La Bayadère (Rudolf Nureyev), the Young Man in Le Rendez-vous (Roland Petit), the title role of Siddharta (Angelin Preljocaj), In The Night (Jerome Robbins).

Biography

1987

He enters the Ballet School. 1993 At the age of 18 he joins the Corps de ballet.

1994 
He becomes a “Coryphée” and wins the (junior) bronze medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition. 

1996 

He is cast in the roles of Fritz in The Nutcracker, the Bluebird in Sleeping Beauty, Mercutio in Romeo & Juliette, the Golden Idol in La Bayadère (Rudolf Nureyev), The Faun in The Four Seasons (Jerome Robbins) and he dances the first movement of the 9th Symphony (Maurice Béjart). 

1998 

Prix du Cercle Carpeaux. 

1999 

He becomes a “Sujet”. Roland Petit chooses him to perform the role of Carlos in Clavigo and the Clown in Les Forains. He also dances the Peasant’s pas de deux in Giselle (after Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot), the pas de trois and the Neapolitan Dance in Swan Lake (Rudolf Nureyev) as well as the role of Lucien d’Hervilly in the new production of Paquita (Pierre Lacotte after Joseph Mazilier and Marius Petipa). 

2001 
He becomes a “Premier danseur”. The Prodigal Son, Rubies / Jewels, Agon (George Balanchine), Frantz in Coppélia (Patrice Bart), Phrases of Quartet (Maurice Béjart), Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights (Kader Belarbi), O Zlozony / O Composite (Trisha Brown), Stepping Stones (Jiří Kylián), Suite en Blanc (Serge Lifar), L’Envol d’Icare (Thierry Malandain), Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Des Grieux in La Dame aux Camélias (John Neumeier), The Gipsy and Basilio in Don Quichotte, The film star actor in Cinderella (Rudolf Nureyev), Frederi in L’Arlésienne, and The Young Man and Death (Roland Petit).
