Amandine Albisson promoted to "Dancer Étoile "
of the Paris Opera
On Wednesday March 5th, 2014, on the nomination of Director of Dance Brigitte Lefèvre, Nicolas Joel, Director of the Paris Opera promoted Amandine Albisson to the rank of Dancer Étoile of the Paris Opera at the end of the performance of the ballet Onéguine (John Cranko) in which she had performed the role of ‘Tatiana’ alongside Dancer Étoile Josua Hoffalt on the stage of the Palais Garnier.

Amandine Albisson will soon be appearing in George Balanchine’s Palais de Cristal and in theBenjamin Millepied creation Daphnis et Chloé, both of which are scheduled to be presented at the Opéra Bastille between May 10th and June 8th 2014.

She will also be performing the role of ‘the Dryad Queen’ in  Rudolf Nureyev’s Don Quixote during the Paris Opera Ballet’s official tour of Japan in March 2014.
