A la carte projects
How is a rehearsal organised? Who makes the sets and costumes? What technicians are needed to ensure a performance runs smoothly? Who is in charge of the programming? ... To answer all these questions and reveal what happens behind the scenes, the theatre opens its doors to pupils and their teachers.
To benefit from these activities, simply send a detailed project description containing the following :
- The aim of the educational team’s work (historical, literary, musical, technical, etc.),
- How the project links the different teachers together,
- The activities planned at the school and other locations,
- All other information that is important for understanding the overall project, not forgetting practical information (number of students, level of the class, people or institutions involved in the project, contact details ...).
A letter accompanying the application should specify how we would be associated with the project.
Together, we will define the programme of your activities at the Opera, according to your means, your available time, as well as the constraints related to running the theatre. Different activities may be envisaged: visits to both theatres, discovery of the set and costume workshops, meetings with artistic, technical or administrative professionals, public rehearsals in the auditorium, tickets for a performance in the Young Audience series or reduced price tickets for a performance in the main auditorium (for certain performances and limited to 35 seats including accompanying adults)...
A programme open to everyone
Last season, nearly 5,600 pupils from secondary schools, and also music and dance schools, discovered some of the many facets of the Opera.
If you wish to benefit from these privileged conditions for discovering the Opera, simply send us your detailed project description by the start of the 2013 school year..
Performances in the main auditoriums
Within the framework of pedagogical projects undertaken by school groups or classes from music or dance schools, we offer preferential rates for certain performances, limited to 35 seats per group including accompanying adults.Operas Price 25 €
